Milky Desserts

Milky Desserts - Istanbul In Istanbul, there are a lot of desserts of different kinds but there are some special ones, the milky desserts. As the name says they are based on milk and the most popular among the population are:

  • Tavukgogsu (freshly cooked chicken breast into tiny pieces, mixed with pudding with rice flour, eggs and vanilla).

  • Kazandibi (same preparation as tavukgogsu but you have to put into the oven, the bottom gets red and delicious).

  • Keskul (milk, flour, rice flour, almonds, pistachio, eggs, vanilla).

  • Gullac (thin sheets of pastry with milk sauce and rose water that are added).
If you have a chance to try them do not hesitated, they are pretty good and you will enjoy them a lot.
